Salmo North America, a division of Fox International Group, Europe’s premier fishing tackle manufacturer is pleased to announce they have reached a new partnership with Professional Bass Angler Sam George out of Athens Alabama.
“As demand for Salmo lures has increased from bass anglers around the US, the timing of this partnership made perfect sense.” Said Greg DeVries, Director of Sales and Marketing for Salmo North America. “After spending some time with Sam, it became rapidly apparent that we shared many of the same qualities that are so important to the integrity of the Salmo brand.” Sam has been a staple on the US Bass circuit for the past four years, competing in all three divisions of the Bassmaster Open Series. He has enjoyed excellent success and has his sights squarely on competing on the Elite level. “Salmo’s reputation in the upper Midwest as the go-to crankbait for Walleye and other predator fish is widely known” said George of the Salmo offering. “What’s amazing is just how effective Salmo lures are on bass as well. I had the opportunity to visit their facility in Poland and was blown away by the quality standards the hand-made lures offered. I’m looking forward to continued success as part of the Salmo team.”
Salmo, now in its 25th year, continues to produce award-winning crankbaits at their facility in northern Poland after being acquired by Fox International Group. Each lure is literally hand-crafted by a team of artisans that take extreme pride in their craft, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years. Every lure is also individually tank tested and tuned by hand to ensure they meet the highest standard of performance.
